Snapshot part of a page

Save a rectangle of a page as a PNG picture.

Snapshot saves any rectangle of a page, including the comments on it, as a PNG picture file.

Steps

  1. In the rail, choose Comment, then Snapshot in the Markup group (Snapshot a region). It is also on the Float bar.
  2. Drag a box over the area.
  3. Choose where to save the PNG file.

Good to know

  • The document is not changed.
  • The picture is made at a fixed sharpness (about twice the page's normal size); this cannot be changed yet.
  • To save whole pages as pictures, see "Save pages as pictures".
