Erase annotation removes a whole comment, highlight, drawing or shape with one click.
Steps
- In the rail, choose Comment, then Erase annotation in the Markup group.
- Click the mark to remove. If marks overlap, the one on top goes.
Good to know
- It removes whole marks; it does not rub out part of a drawing.
- A click anywhere inside a mark's surrounding box counts, so a click near a diagonal line can remove it.
- It works on marks that came with the document as well as your own.
- Undo with Ctrl+Z. You can also remove marks from the Comments tab or with Select annotations and Delete.
