Shapes help you frame, connect or point at things on a page.
Steps
- In the rail, choose Comment. In the Shapes group, choose Rectangle, Ellipse, Line or Arrow.
- Drag on the page. For a rectangle or ellipse, drag from one corner to the other. For a line or arrow, drag from where it starts to where it ends; an arrow's head is at the end.
Good to know
- Colour, opacity and line width come from the Properties tab.
- To move or resize a shape later, use Select annotations.
- Undo with Ctrl+Z.
