Monstera keeps crash reports on your computer, which is on by default. The next time it starts after a crash, it asks "Send us the crash report?" Choose Share… and the Windows Share sheet opens with the report and the diagnostics log attached, so you can send it from your own mail app. Nothing is sent unless you send it. A crash report is a snapshot of the app’s memory and can contain parts of the documents that were open, so review it before you send it. How crash reports work
If you discover a security vulnerability, suspicious behavior, or a PDF that causes Monstera to behave unexpectedly, please report it privately so we can investigate it responsibly. Use Report a vulnerability on the Security tab of the GitHub repository, or email us.

Need to know how to do something, whether Monstera can handle it, or which setting to use? Press F1 in the app to open the guide for where you are, or read the online Help. If you still can’t find what you need, contact us and we’ll help.
Tell us about the problem you’re trying to solve, not just the feature or button you want. Understanding the problem helps us build something genuinely useful. We read every suggestion we receive.

Email is how we handle support, and every message reaches us directly. You can also post your questions in the GitHub Discussions (opens in a new tab), where others can share in the conversation.
Providing specific details helps speed up our support process. Please follow the steps below if you encounter an error with Monstera.
If you need to share a file to demonstrate a problem, remove any pages that are not relevant and redact sensitive information first. Whenever possible, use a harmless sample instead of sending private or confidential documents.
