Select annotations lets you pick up marks you or others have added and change where they are and how big they are.
Steps
- In the rail, choose Comment, then Select in the Markup group (its full name is Select annotations). It is also in Home, Quick tools, and on the Float bar.
- Click a mark to select it, or drag a box to select every mark it touches.
- Drag a selected mark to move it; drag its handles to resize it.
- Use the arrow keys to nudge it; hold Shift for bigger steps.
- Press Delete to remove the selection.
- To copy marks, right-click and choose Copy. Then right-click a page (in this or another document) and choose Paste annotations, or press Ctrl+V.
Good to know
- The Properties tab shows the selected marks' colour and other details; see "Change how annotations look".
- Picture stamps and some marks from other programs cannot be copied. Comments, shapes, drawings and highlights can.
- Undo with Ctrl+Z.
