Replace pages removes the page you are on, or the pages you selected, and puts pages of another document in their place, in one step.
Steps
- Go to the page you want to replace, or select the pages in the Organize grid.
- In the rail, choose Organize, then Replace pages… in the Pages group.
- The window says which pages will be removed. In Replace with, choose another open document, or choose Choose file… to pick a PDF. A file you pick opens as its own tab.
- Under Pages, choose which of its pages go in. The window starts on as many pages as you are replacing, so the document keeps its length.
- Choose Replace page. When you replace more than one, the button says how many.
Good to know
- Pages that are not next to each other are each swapped for one page, in order, so choose as many pages as you are replacing.
- Pages next to each other can be swapped for any number of pages.
- Undo with Ctrl+Z puts the original pages back.
