Place a picture or stamp on a page

Draw a box and put a picture in it, such as a logo or your own stamp, on one page or every page.

You can place a picture, such as a logo or a scanned stamp, onto a page. It can be moved, resized or deleted afterwards.

Steps

  1. In the rail, choose Comment, then Image in the Stamps group (its full name is Place an image).
  2. Drag a box on the page where the picture should go.
  3. Pick a PNG or JPEG file.

Good to know

  • To put the same picture in the same place on every page, open Settings, Editing defaults page, and set Place images on to Every page before you draw the box. The default is This page only. Either way it is one step to undo.
  • Ready-made stamps such as APPROVED or DRAFT are in Comment, Stamp in the Stamps group; see "Add a stamp".
  • To move, resize or delete the picture, use Select annotations.
  • Pictures placed this way cannot be copied and pasted.
