Monstera has three layouts. Ribbon shows every tool. Studio keeps a compact strip and opens the tools only when you pick a section. Focus hides everything but the document.
Steps
- In the title bar, use the Layout switch and choose Ribbon, Studio or Focus.
- In Studio, choose a section in the rail to open its tools; they close again once you pick one, press Esc or click elsewhere.
- To leave Focus, press Esc. A note at the edge of the window reminds you of the key.
Good to know
- Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+F enters Focus; Esc leaves it and returns to the layout you had.
- Your choice is remembered. You can also set it in Settings, Appearance page, Layout.
- In Focus, Ctrl+K still finds any tool.
