The document panel sits to the left of the pages. It has seven tabs, one shown at a time: Pages, Bookmarks, Comments, Forms, Layers, Search and Accessibility.
Steps
- Choose a tab icon at the top of the panel to switch to it.
- To make the panel wider or narrower, drag its edge.
- To hide it, choose Collapse the document panel (the chevron). To bring it back, choose Show the document panel at the left edge.
Good to know
- Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+B shows or hides the panel.
- The panel's width and which tab is open are remembered.
- The size of the page pictures in Pages is set in Settings, Appearance page, Thumbnail size.
