Show and hide layers

Some PDFs, such as technical drawings and maps, have layers that can be shown or hidden. The Layers tab lists them.

Steps

1. In the document panel, choose the Layers tab.
2. Tick or untick a layer to show or hide it.

Good to know

• Showing or hiding a layer is a change to the document: once saved, other PDF readers open it the same way. Undo puts it back.
• If the document has no layers, the tab says so.
• You can add a page from another document as a new layer; see "Import a page as a layer".
