Help Viewing and moving around

Magnify part of a page with the loupe

The loupe is a magnifier that follows the pointer over the page.

The loupe shows a sharp, enlarged view of the part of the page under the pointer, without changing the zoom.

Steps

  1. In the rail, choose Tools, then Loupe in the Display group.
  2. Move the pointer over the page.
  3. Choose Loupe again to turn it off.

Good to know

  • Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+L.
  • The loupe magnifies twice the current zoom. The amount cannot be changed yet.
  • It follows the mouse, so it is not available from the keyboard; use zoom instead.
