When a document has many comments, the AI assistant can summarise them for you, citing the page of each point.
Steps
- In the rail, choose Review, then Summarise comments in the AI group.
- The AI assistant opens and asks about all the comments in the document. The line under the question says how many comments were sent.
- Choose Go to page … in the answer to jump to a comment's page.
Good to know
- You need a key for an AI provider; see "Get and add keys for AI and online reading services". The provider bills you directly. With no key, the AI assistant says so and sends nothing; once you add one, the summary you asked for begins.
- A document with no comments sends nothing, and the AI assistant says so.
- Only the comments' words are sent, not the rest of the document.
- If the list is too long to send whole, the first comments are sent and the line says so.
