To redact a name or number everywhere it appears, let Monstera find and mark every match for you.
Steps
- In the rail, choose Protect, then Redact matches… in the Redact group (Mark matches for redaction).
- Type the text in Find.
- In Search, choose Every page or Page ….
- Choose Mark matches. Every match is marked with a redaction mark.
- Check the marks and delete any you did not mean, then choose Apply redactions. See "Redact (permanently remove) content".
Good to know
- The search ignores capitalisation.
- Nothing is removed until you apply redactions.
- A match that wraps onto the next line gets a mark on each line.
- If there are too many matches, nothing is marked and Monstera tells you.
